Course Information
Bushcraft Shelters
Ready to try building a bushcraft shelter? Here's a concise introduction to bushcraft building techniques and architecture. There's no need for "roughing it" when you can build a comfortable home in the wild. Spend the day learning the backcountry building skills you'd need to create lean-tos, sleeping shelters, huts and useful campsite features. No chainsaws or prior experience required.
Learn to build:
- Roofing systems
- Platforms and benches
- Insulated walls
- And even a heating system with a low fire risk to the structure and its inhabitants!
This NEW 1-day class is available by itself, but it is also the first day of our 5-day Bushcraft Week program. Learn how to build functional shelters from the natural building elements around us!
