Don’t let the cold weather stop you from exploring the forests and fields of Sky Meadows. This season offers quiet solitude on the park’s trails, when you know how to stay safe in lower temperatures. Learn to identify hypothermia, frostbite and several other winter maladies that can strike in the outdoors. Learn to avoid these and make the best out of winter. This workshop will be held rain or shine. This workshop will be mostly indoors, with some outdoor time. All ages welcome. No registration necessary. Meet at the Carriage Barn, bring water, dress in layers, and wear sturdy shoes. Park admission fee or State Park pass required for park entry.
