Primitive Cooking
Primitive Cooking
When’s the last time you were invited to a feast?
Well, we’re inviting you to join one now. This class made its debut on our roster way back in 2002, and since then, our Primitive Cooking class has been nothing short of a primal banquet! Spend the morning with us, as we cook a tasty lunch. Then try different culinary techniques in the afternoon, as we prepare a feast for our dinner. Learn the food preparation skills of our ancestors, using familiar (and delicious) modern food ingredients (store-bought meat, vegetables, and staple foods like flour and oil). You’ll also receive a very detailed booklet on the subject (only available through this class).
Build a stone oven from rocks and mud
Dig a steam pit for in-ground cooking
Fry some crispy treats with the method of rock frying
Bake foods in the coals of the fire
Try rock boiling for tea
Build a grill from green wood to "barbecue" meat and vegetables
and learn much much more!
